I’m not sure whether you like lizards or not, but I’m guessing you’d probably prefer not to find one in your house.
But, I have quite a few that live in the garden, and about 4 or 5 that live right in my herb garden.
Since they “moved in” (well, started their little family, because I’ve seen a few grow from tiny little things to quite large lizards), the number of unwanted bugs in my herb garden has DRAMATICALLY decreased.
At one point there were quite a few large ants that seemed to be taking over, especially over my basil tree, but now there are no ants to be seen. I’m not sure if lizards eat ants, or just keep them out, but I’m happy.
In today’s article:

The 3G iPhone has been out in the U.S. for a couple of weeks now, and it sounds like people are still raving about it.
In this article I talk about the cool new features of the iPhone that now means you have no excuse NOT to get the iPhone.
And, there’s a video at the bottom which shows off all the new features and shows you what the iPhone really can do…
The first time I wrote about the iPhone (in my post “Apple iPhone in South Africa“) I was writing about the original iPhone and said that I wouldn’t recommend that you buy it for the following reasons:
Now, there is absolutely NO REASON why you shouldn’t buy the iPhone. Here’s why:
Another safety and security article for you in the series started thanks to my work sending out the Security tips email…
Do you live in South Africa? I do…
Do you know anybody who’s been hijacked? I do…
Are you nervous when pulling into a driveway at night? I am
Want to try prevent being hijacked? Read below…
The next list of tips in my Safety and Security series is related to Credit Card Fraud.
These tips were also part of the security update document sent out by my company that I thought should be shared with everybody. We are all affected by crime in one way or another, and any extra awareness can help.
Carrying on from the Home Security Tips article, this article will focus more on what to do in the unlikely (and unlucky) event of a robbery.
Don’t forget to subscribe (on the left) to receive all of these articles and please feel free to send this link to people you know (using the “Share This” link at the bottom).
My Company recently sent out an email with a list of Security Tips and Suggestions because of the escalating crime rate in the area.
I thought it would be good to share it with the rest of South Africa (and the world) because everybody can benefit from extra awareness and ideas.
I was just browsing the internet (as we tend to do when we’re supposed to be working) and I saw this video.
It’s a chair called “Flexible Love”, and don’t worry, it’s totally safe to view this video at work.
Apparently a design student came up with the concept.
I doubt it’s available in any furniture stores here in South Africa right now, but I thought I would share the video with you anyway, JUST because it looks so cool.
Well, Mother’s Day is over. Hopefully you all bought your moms and mom-in-laws great gifts.
If you feel like sharing your idea, please go leave a comment on the “Mothers Day Gifts” article. It will really help me out for next year. 😉
Anyway, are you getting ready for Fathers Day?
Here’s the easy way to remember when Father’s Day is.
